Growing Up in the Heart of Old Delhi
Long before Glam Organica was created, before products were formulated, before labels and packaging existed, I was simply a young girl growing up in the soulful lanes of Old Delhi, quietly absorbing the beauty of traditions, family values, and the comforting simplicity of home. My childhood was wrapped in warmth. I grew up in a traditional joint family where relationships mattered more than possessions.
Life moved through shared meals, laughter-filled evenings, festivals, togetherness, and the quiet comfort of always being surrounded by love. My father was a manager in a government bank, known for his discipline, integrity, and dedication. My mother enriched our home with learning, confidence, and strong values.
Finding My Calling
As years passed, my fascination with beauty and wellness deepened. While many people saw beauty as appearance, I always felt it was something far more meaningful. To me, beauty was softness in the heart, confidence in the soul, peace in the mind, and the comfort of feeling connected to oneself.
As I grew older, I chose to study Beauty Culture professionally through VLCC because I wanted to understand the world I naturally felt drawn toward. I carried dreams in my eyes—dreams of building something meaningful, something rooted in nature, authenticity, and purpose.
Ayurveda Never Left My Home
I consistently practiced Ayurveda-based home remedies on myself, my children, and my family members, relying primarily on herbs, spices, and natural ingredients readily available in my kitchen. This kept my passion for Ayurveda alive and ensured that the knowledge I had acquired remained meaningful in everyday life.
For me, Ayurveda is more than a system of wellness—it is a precious legacy inherited from my mother and a timeless heritage of India.
The Silent Years
Among all the influences in my life, my mother became my first inspiration. Some of my most beautiful memories were not grand occasions, but simple everyday rituals. I would watch my mother prepare homemade ubtans in steel bowls, blending herbs, oils, sandalwood, turmeric, and age-old remedies with patience and affection.
Those moments carried a quiet magic. They were never just about skincare; they were acts of care, healing, tradition, and self-respect. Perhaps that was where my journey truly began.
Why Glam Organica Exists
As I continued observing the changing beauty industry around me, one thing deeply troubled me. Beauty was becoming louder, faster, and more artificial. Products promised perfection but often disconnected people from simplicity, authenticity, and self-acceptance. I wanted beauty that healed instead of hiding. Beauty that came from nature, not insecurity.
More Than a Brand
Even during the most difficult phases, when self-doubt whispered loudly and fear felt overwhelming, one thing kept me moving forward: purpose. My family became my greatest strength. As a mother, another quiet motivation grew within my heart—the desire to show my daughters that women are allowed to dream, even if life asks them to wait before fulfilling those dreams.
